Dear all,
I’ve received the following email, which should be right up nBUG alley.
Best
Jarek
The UKRI Hartree centre in Daresbury will be hosting a local node for the upcoming nf-core Nextflow hackathon as an opportunity for people in the region to meet up and hack on bioinformatics tools and workflows and we wondered if anybody at NorthernBUG might be interested. We have a number of omics projects complete and ongoing at the centre, and we are keen to further develop Nextflow and nf-core pipelines for use on our HPC facilities and in the cloud.
Details for the event are here: https://nf-co.re/events/2024/hackathon-march-2024. The event is scheduled for 18th - 20th March and people are welcome to drop into the site to use our space during the hackathon. We have booked our Brunner-Mond training room, and tea and coffee is available.
If you would like more information, please let me know. Information on Hartree centre is available here: https://www.hartree.stfc.ac.uk/
Thanks.
Regards,
Stephen Checkley
