Hi all, (this mostly for the DC area, but maybe some folks are in the area over break)
I'm organizing a flyering effort to promote the upcoming medical marijuana community meeting here in Washington, D.C. on Thursday (time/address below), hosted by the D.C. Patients Advocacy Coalition. We're going to have teams passing out flyers outside of Metro stations in the District during the evening commute home, with an emphasis on placing teams in less affluent areas of the city, where residents may be less likely to know about the meeting from its current web promotion.
If you're available to flyer for about an hour between the hours of 5 and 7pm this Mon-Wed, send me an email with the day(s) and time(s) you're available,
mikeli...@yahoo.com. I'll send a reply with information about picking up flyers, etc. (If you have the ability to print your own flyers, even better!)
I know this is a last second, but organizing a broad, grass roots coalition will go a long way in making sure the ultimate policy adopted by the
city best serves all residents. This flyering effort will help DCPAC's efforts in achieving this goal.
Thanks!
