Not like we want to bring our work home with us but it will be very useful to have remote access to Northbay's EMR.

I've attached the document that shows how to get remote access to Cerner. I was able to get it to work on my computer. You'll need to download Citrix Receiver to your computer from the Citrix website :  http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/lp/lp_2309126.asp?ntref=DLpromo1a

I can help out with simple questions if you run into trouble but the Northbay IT help desk would probably be your best resource.

Also, just as a forewarning, Dr. Zopfi was very surprised when I told him that we had remote access to patient information. He said something along the lines of "IT must trust you guys...be very careful about protecting patient privacy when using it outside the hospital so you guys can maintain the privilege"

Hope everyone had a good 1st week.

Hey Kyle,

What did you enter when it says "URL or work email" when you download Citrix receiver?
