Hi all,

Apparently we cannot cancel rotations at Northbay.

I recently emailed Kaitlyn Jackson about canceling a NB rotation in favor of one of my required military rotations. She informed me that I "violated a policy" by canceling the NB rotation, and that I will be unable to schedule anymore rotations at NB.

I didn't find this specific cancellation policy listed in the rotation handbook. Is it listed somewhere else?

Also, does anyone know if this applies to all the "Do Not Contact" Facilites that are listed in the rotations handbook?

Doctors Hospital, San Pablo
NorthBay Medical Center, Fairfield
Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center
Tahoe Forest Hospital
Sutter Medical Foundation East Bay Neurology Associates

Figured I'd ask you guys first, before I asked her and upset her again.

Sincerely,

Jonathan

Email Hartwig, this seems ridiculous.

Was it within 60 days of the rotation? Because I know that's a rule. Never heard anything about NEVER canceling a NB rotation. Especially if its not until next Feb or something.

Ya, not if it's within 60days! What rotation was it? Maybe you can trade with someone so that it's not really cancelled, but a different student can take it. For example, IM looking for more NorthBay rotations!! :)
