Bernalillo County Invites Public to Learn About Fourth Street Road Diet Reconstruction Project
Bernalillo County, NM – Bernalillo County invites residents, business owners and community stakeholders to attend an upcoming public information meeting on the upcoming Fourth Street Road Diet Reconstruction Project. County staff and project representatives will be on hand to provide an overview of the planned improvements and answer questions.
The project will improve safety, accessibility and drainage along Fourth Street between Ortega Road and Alameda Boulevard. Planned improvements include reducing the roadway to one travel lane in each direction with a continuous two-way left-turn lane, adding bicycle lanes, sidewalks, curb and gutter infrastructure, and constructing a new storm drainage system to help reduce flooding in the area.
County staff and project representatives will provide an overview of the project, discuss the construction schedule and answer questions from the public.
