We're building our North Valley Area Plan update team. Come join us!

 

Hello North Valley community members! 

 

The North Valley is a unique and cherished part of Bernalillo County. The plan that guides how it grows and changes was adopted in 1993; since then, some things have changed, while much remains the same. Bernalillo County, with Bohannan Huston and Anthropopulus, is launching a community-led update to the Plan – and it starts with you.

 

Right now, we're building our team. There are two ways to join us:

  

JOIN THE STEERING COMMITTEE

Twelve community members will advise the County throughout the process -- farmers, business owners, neighbors, young people, artists, and trail users. You don't need planning experience, just a passion for the valley. The application takes about ten minutes.

ANSWER THE CALL FOR ARTISTS

We are looking for artists, artist teams, and community-based creative practitioners for a participatory art project that will help shape the Plan. The selected artist will work with residents, businesses, and the planning team to design activities that bring more voices into the process.
