It is unlikely that the North Valley Coalition will host a mayoral candidate forum.  Here is an invite to one hosted by a very active coalition and I feel confident the questions will be representative of the same concerns we have.

Dear West Side voters and interested parties,

The West Side Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (WSCONA) will hold a City of Albuquerque Mayoral Candidate Forum on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Don Newton Community Center from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  (See the attached agenda.)

Mayoral Candidate Forum
Date:          Saturday, September 13, 2025
Time:          9:30 a.m.-Light Refreshments
                  10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.-Program
Location:    Don Newton Community Center (also called Taylor Ranch Community Center)
                  4900 Kachina NW

Please invite your neighbors to this important civic event.  Light refreshments will be served.  The seven mayoral candidates (Mayling Armijo, Eddie Vaela, Daniel Chavez, Timothy Keller, Louie Sanchez, Alexander Uballez and Darren White) will address specific questions posed by WSCONA.  The above speaking order was chosen randomly.

The Don Newton Community Center (also called Taylor Ranch Community Center) can be accessed off Kachina Street or Taylor Ranch Road.  There's parking to the west (behind) the Center and to the east across Taylor Ranch Road.

Each candidate's written response to the questions posed by WSCONA will eventually be available at the WSCONA website:  https://www.wsconanm.org/

Again, your participation is crucial to the success of this event.

WSCONA Secretary
