Dear District 2 Community,
Every year during the legislative session the City of Albuquerque works with our partners at the State of New Mexico to secure investments in Albuquerque's neighborhoods. Capital outlay funds from individual legislators are one of the key ways we can bring
those investments into the community - supporting projects that improve safety, expand opportunities, and enhance quality of life across the city. As Field Representatives in the Mayor's Office, our role is to stay connected to the community, share updates
like these, and serve as a direct line between residents and the Mayor's Office.
That’s why today I’m sharing that in the most recent legislative session the City secured approximately $67 million dollars to invest back into our community. Below you will find updates on where that money is going and what we hope to accomplish with it in
the future.
Capital Outlay: $60,792,685
General Obligation Fund: $6,151,500
