February North Texas AMS Meeting is Postponed

Hi All,

Given a number conflicts in schedules, the AMS officers have decided it is best to postpone the February meeting. In the meantime, we encourage you to participate in one of the local science fairs coming up. It's fun seeing what kids are coming up with in their projects. I will copy the information provided last month below.

We will back in March with our regularly scheduled program.

The Dallas science fair is Saturday, February 17th at State Fair Park. The Fort Worth science fair is Monday, February 19th at UT-Arlington. We provide monetary donations to both fairs. We also have members participate as judges, especially in the Earth science category. We hope that you will consider judging at least one of these fairs. I know that I had a blast seeing what the kids are investigating and learning through their projects.
