May AMS/NWA Chapter Meeting at Noon Today

Good Morning All,

Today is the last meeting of the 2023-2024 season, and we have a National Hurricane Center hurricane specialist and former hurricane hunter speaking to our group. I hope you can join us in-person or virtually. The in-person component will be at the NWS office in Fort Worth. Please note that if you do attend to be in-person, the doors will open up only 15-min in advance and our foot traffic will be limited to the entrance, conference room, and restrooms. This is to minimize our impact to current NWS operations.

Today is also officer elections. As noted, myself (President) and Stanley (Treasurer) are stepping down at the end of the meeting. We will conducting elections as well as discussing the future direction of the group.
