I met Hank at J&R's for early dinner.  He had a burger and I had the ribs.  We were figured out our strategy on the hunt. He had push pin in two locations.  One across Drew's Tower on River Ave. and Connecticut at the canoe put-in.  We spent 20 minutes at both spots and using the recorded "wail" sound occasionally. No dice.  The surprise of the evening were all the satellites we saw, slow and fast movers at least ten to fifteen.  Then we saw something I've only seen on TV in one of the shows I watch.   A spring of pearls flying equal spaced going across the low in the north sky.  Must have been at least 20-25 satellites in an arc.  I hear it's musk-rats innovation to get MORE data of the Earth and MORE on us. Big Brother is here.

Darn!
Any very local saw whet sightings?
Maybe go back to wolf preserve tonight and just sit in the car and listen.
