Hi folks, honestly, this is important because a close friend of mine had a house fire that started due to soot buildup in the chimney/basement collector space. It smoldered for a long time and eventually burned part of their home. That incident really scared me, so now I have my chimney cleaned regularly.

We’re scheduling a chimney cleaning service with Matt, and if a few more people join, we can get a group discount. Normally, this costs up to $400, but with 3-4 houses, it's $169 per house.

Creosote is highly flammable, and if it accumulates, it can ignite and spread rapidly to the roof and walls. Regular cleaning removes that risk. We’ve used this company before, and they do an excellent job. (They also do $149 for duct and $149 for dryer cleaning if anyone needs that.) If you’re interested, please PM me your contact info and address, and I’ll coordinate a convenient time for everyone. Please text me at 240-202-8145 and mention Matt's name. I’ll add you to the list.
