Hi All,

Just moved back to the NE and will be joining the space, not sure I can get in this week as I need to go down south Wednesday.  If I get all the "paperwork" done before would anyone be around on Monday/Tuesday to show me around?

I used to be a member of London Hackspace so have an idea of what the score is.

Just a bit of an old hacker in the physical computing space, though, just getting back into stuff now I have more time.

Most of us are away at EMFcamp at the moment and after such a long weekend away are currently not expecting to be open Monday.

( unless announced on here)

we'll be open on Tuesday if you want to call in.

Thanks Glen,

Tuesday should work for me, I will get the payment made today/tomorrow and once that gets done I will pop along on Tuesday.  Also, would the pillar drill be available? If so I would like to put a couple of holes in two 2040 aluminium profiles.

you have to be trained and registered to use the machine tools (RFID lockout) and not sure if of anyone will be available to do so at short notice. but if you are competent, I'm sure someone should be able to swipe you on to it and supervise.

That would at the discretion of whoever is in though.

will also get you on the members list too, rather than chatting on here.

Hi Glen,

I am not sure why this group is not forwarding to my Gmail but thanks for the info,  I have not received the membership application yet so I will have to wait for next week anyway.  I am going down south tomorrow so I will try and grab my basic Silverline pillar drill to get my job done which I will then be happy to donate to the space if you are interested as I have no room for it.
