Hello all,

I have a bunch of SMD resistors I need to measure that are in the region of 0.11 ohm.
Ideally I would like to measure there resistance to within 0.001.
Does anyone have access to any equipment that would allow me to do that?
Would only take me 10-15mins max.

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay,

I have one of these, but I'm not sure it goes down to low resistances well (never tested, but the smallest scale is 20R) .  It worked well for pF though, which is what I needed it for.

Alternatives are a bench PSU to limit current/voltage to protect the resistors, then monitor current and voltage with a pair of DMMs and do the maths?

Another option might be to buy one or two of these: https://simonselectronics.co.uk/product/ucurrent-gold-kit-leads-and-battery/ to use in conjunction with a pair of multimeters or two channels on an oscilloscope and run a function on the channel pair to get your mOhms.  Neither @Will McElderry 's or my suggestions are all that cheap!
