Traffic Alert Washington Street & 51st Avenue Project Starting Monday, April 27, there will be a traffic switch on Washington Street between 51st and 52nd avenues. Traffic Impacts | What to Expect Please follow all construction signage to keep drivers and workers safe. Reduce speeds are advised. 51st Avenue is closed from Washington Street to Emerson Street. No left turns allowed at the Washington Street and 51st Avenue intersection. Center lanes will close, and traffic will shift to one lane in each direction on the outside lanes. Sidewalk closures: follow detour signs, avoid construction areas and use caution near work zones. The northbound RTD bus stop on Washington Street between 51st and 52nd avenues will be closed. Construction Activities • Stormdrain installation and connection • Milling and paving • Anticipated duration: April 27 through late May Bus Stop Impact There is a current closure of the northbound RTD bus stop on Washington Street between 51st and 52nd avenues.
