Good evening gardeners,

As we continue nurturing our beautiful garden, Washington Parks & People is grateful for your ongoing dedication and support. Here’s the schedule for tomorrow volunteer opportunities:

Thursday:  4pm-7pm

No prior experience is necessary, as we provide all tools needed for our gardening projects. Here’s a glimpse of what we have planned: 

Thursday:  start trays of kale, Collards and broccoli. 

. Weeding watering, and raking. 

Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and bring your water bottle. We’ll take care of the rest! 

Your commitment to our garden’s growth and beauty is immensely appreciated. Together we are making a meaningful difference.

Hello neighbors,

Washington Parks & People invites you to join us for a day of community service at the Columbia Heights Green tomorrow. Together, we'll be working from 4pm-7pm, focusing on cleaning up around the vegetables, watering newly seedlings, weeding out garden and preparing beds for spring planting. We’ll also be  turning compost and raking leaves if necessary.

No prior experience is necessary, and no tool are required. Just come dressed warmly and ready to lend a hand. Your support will make a meaningful difference in maintaining our beautiful garden.
