Greetings Urban Farmers!

Tomorrow is our annual Harvest Fest! This event was created to celebrate the fall vegetable harvest as well as the intangible things we can harvest like peace, justice, and love! Join Parks & People along with local vendors and organizations from the Deanwood community for a lovely fall day of fun! We have over 200 pumpkins for decorating and carving as well as a variety of other family-friendly fun like music, yoga, spoken word, guided writing sessions, pony rides, games, and so much more!

The Harvest Fest is from 1-5pm at the Marvin Gaye Greening Center: 5000 Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave NE. (There is ample free, un-metered, street parking available)

Volunteers are encouraged to come as early as 9am to help with set-up!
