Carlsbad swim report 7/16/2013

Another day in paradise, swim fans.  

After the Carlsbad Triathlon, we expect some attrition and low attendance.  Not this morning.  We had a great turnout for a wonderful day in the water.  The waves were big enough to give us a little fun on the way in and out - did Carl caught a wave and Tonya at the same time? 

The water was reasonably glassy, with a little texture.  Visibility was not great, but I did see some hopping bait fish (no dolphins).  There were both warm (felt hot!) and cold patches.  Chalon and Kevin   visited the Army/Navy Academy, while the rest of us split roughly into B and C groups.

Sorry for the bad camera work.  At least I didn't lose the camera in the ocean.
