I did a scouting trip over the weekend (Old lady and I had a fabulous time
in Memphis though! Love that Beale street FOOD!) and it was terribly
depressing to see and experience such incredible poverty and hatred
toward whitey. I’m usually exceptionally well received by any black
based community that I visit but not in those places. They were
quite angry, downright hateful and generally intimidating to be near
the inevitable crowds anywhere we visited for two days.
My lady and I are both as white looking as it gets in a red convertible
with tans, blonde hair and blue eyes but we were dressed down and
obviously out for “vacation” but still received with outright hostility everywhere
we went. Scary. I was amazed. My woman is stunning
looking, long legged, tanned and freakin gorgeous but even
she (maybe even more so) was shunned everywhere down there.
BUT, you know what we DID see everywhere with those kinds of attitudes?
Louis Farrakhan billboards. Everywhere you looked.
