Construction / issues with contractor on Dickens

I reached out to Mr. Gabriel Silva the owner of Home Crest Builders, the company building a new home at 9909 Dickens Ave, a few days ago to ask that he address some issues. Mostly damage caused to lawns across the street from the construction site by one of his trucks. He refused to do anything, and replied in part: "As it's a public street, my authority ends at the property line", further stating "Most of the contractors’ vehicles display their business phone numbers. For quicker and more direct resolution in the event of a similar issue, I recommend contacting them directly." 

It is not worth trying to address concerns and seek resolution from a contractor who will not take responsibility for the people they hire to work on their construction project.  

I am going to avoid Mr. Gabriel Silva and Home Crest Builders, and simply file complaints when I have issues...
