The newly launched Sonoma New Economy Project in collaboration with the Public Banking Institute and the Share Exchange is thrilled to host Marc Armstrong, Executive Director of PBI. Our evening will include: a short documentary on the history of the Bank of North Dakota; some little known history of how colonial public banking helped achieve economic independence and stability during the formative years of our emerging democracy; and some discussion of the triumphs and inspirations as well as the stumbling-blocks and lessons from these examples of public banking that can inform our current local efforts to democratize our economy.

There's a ton of promo that needs to happen. Please start by putting this up on your facebook, forwarding to relevant email lists you are on, etc.

Does anybody have experience writing a press release? That needs to happen asap and I have too much on my plate this weekend to do that. The sooner we have it the sooner we can get the word out to traditional media outlets!

Thank you Leah for all that you are doing! I was thinking about you last night and what an intelligent and shining star you are, we so need young people who will step up and take action and that is you my young sister. 

My time has gotten filled as I am rebuilding my business and going into my 2nd year of Practitioner studies for CSLSR. I am happy to do all I can to move the ball a little ways down the field. I believe fully in this cause. Thank you too for getting my email straightened out on the google group, it helps to know what is happening and when. 

When you get back from your trip back east I will be ready to show you how you can "become your own family bank" and take control of all of your money, giving yourself tax free loans for your needs, which I believe will be right up your alley. It is what I use to work in, I have joined a new group of professionals and will be going to training on the system at the end of October, so of course the timing is divine. I will have the tools to show people how they can get out of debt quickly and build a legacy for their family outside of the traditional banking system, saving themselves all the interest charged by the banks and lowering their taxes.

If you have the time and want to attend, I have put together a project called FUN "Females with an Unstoppable Nature" and we are having a Goddess Party as a first event on Oct. 5th, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at The Sunflower Center in Petaluma. It is a free event to get women and girls of all ages together in community to have fun, build trust, get to know each other. You and your friends are welcome.

I don't seem to be getting very far with this project. FB won't accept in...@sonomaneweconomy.org as a viable email address, I get an error message, I cannot get past page 1.

Do you have any idea why it won't accept this email address?

it wasn't you. i had to create another email address at the domain to use because fb won't let you use info@ addresses
