Hello Friends,

The primary elections on June 3rd are fast approaching. We are fortunate here in the State of California to have Ellen Brown running for the position of State Treasurer with the Green Party. She is the founder of the Public Banking Institute and author of several books on the subject. I know Ellen personally and am ecstatic that she is running for this office. She is brilliant and truly possesses viable and practical solutions to make dramatic economic shift changes for California.

I received the following message from her stating that she will be speaking throughout the Bay Area from May 22nd - May 26th. If you are able to attend any of these events, I encourage you to do so.

Here is an excellent article that Ellen wrote on why she is running for state treasurer:

Please spread the message to friends in California to vote for Ellen Brown as State Treasurer.

With great appreciation,

Shelly

For California residents: we need your votes!  Mail-in voting started May 5th for the June 3rd "top two” primary (all parties running in a single primary, with only the top two proceeding to the November elections). I'm running for state treasurer and Laura Wells is running for state controller on a state bank platform. For details or to donate, see http://EllenBrown4Treasurer.org. Thanks!

Best wishes,
Ellen
