Hi Green group,
Here's what's on the docket for tomorrow's meeting:
I'd like to go over contacts in the various areas of our city that we identified in our last meeting.  There are also some gaps to fill in.  I'd like to have specific people volunteer to contact those people and invite them to our next meeting. Then I'd like to start fleshing out action plans for each area with people volunteering to take leadership of those subcommittees.
We need to consider why we are asking those people to attend the meetings, how we hope to involve them (what will their individual roles be) and what we may hope to ask them to do. Then we need to get on the phone and make some calls.
I'll have a formal agenda at the meeting, but do be sure to bring lots of ideas with you. Wouldn't it be great to see action and movement by the time the tulips are blooming?
Looking forward to seeing you all,
Thanks,
Jane

Hi Jane,
I am not going to be able to attend tomorrow - I have to lead a workshop for  starting seedlings for the community gardens and the MCLA garden with some students at MCLA that overlaps the Green Group meeting time.

At this moment, I really don't think I'm going to be able to take the loose idea that I threw out to you into a more developed phase for this season - just too much on my plate with the CSA effort, my film project on local food system, and other efforts.  And, perhaps too late anyway for such an effort to just be getting started for this season as it is rather time sensitive. I did a little leg work and thinking on it since we met - so that may come in useful for "seeding" the future.

Thanks for all your doing and the plan below sounds like a good one.

Best,
Sharon

ps-How was your NY trip?  Ours was good; got a good dose of noisy NYC.
