    On May 9th there will be a grassroots community gathering for Berkshire County green enthusiasts.  I was planning on going but am now unable to attend.  Is anyone else interested?  It would be great to have N. Adams represented.

         • Learn what you can do to address climate change

         • Identify opportunities to save money and save energy. 

         • See ground-mounted solar panels & other “green” features of the Costley’s home.

         • Talk with friends and neighbors about how they’re working to improve their home’s energy efficiency.

Berkshires Grassroots Climate Action Gathering:
Bulbs, Bags, and Boldly Beyond


Who: Groups and individuals working at the grassroots level on energy and climate action issues

Where/when: We will gather on Saturday, May 9 at Lenox Town Hall and meet for 2 hours, followed by some networking time. Please let us know your preferred meeting time:
9:00 am - 11:30 am 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Please let Wendy Penner know if you will be able to attend and your preferred time as soon as possible so we can finalize the date. (wendy...@hotmail.com)

At the event we’ll share information & resources that will advance the specific goals of local initiatives and articulate and move forward our shared vision of working toward energy self reliance in the Berkshires. We will explore working together on Berkshire initiatives for 2009 that will support the work we are already doing, build spirit and take action steps.

Once we’ve confirmed the time, we hope you’ll help spread the word to your network. Please feel free to let people know about this upcoming gathering.
