Dear Colleagues and Friends of The Berkshire Environmental Resource Center,

We are pleased to announce the Second BERC Mini-Summit to be held on
October 22nd, 2009 at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), in
North Adams, MA. Please join us for conversation on our collaborative
efforts and endeavors; what is working, and potential areas that we need
to improve upon. We will address how we can all help to meet the needs of
one another as leaders in the environmental and sustainability fields, and
will identify local and regional issues that may need our collective
attention.

A detailed agenda will follow at a later date, but we are tentatively
scheduling the summit for the afternoon of October 22nd. Following the
summit, a reception and the 7th Annual Elizabeth and Lawrence Vadnais
Lecture will take place. This year's speaker for the Vadnais lecture is
Frank O'Brien-Bernini, Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer at
the Owens Corning Corporation. We invite you to stay for the lecture.

Please mark your calendars and plan on attending. A reminder will be sent
out in July with further details.
