After I "SAVE" a project, when I go back to open it, files are missing and volume is gone

Wow.

I bought Videocanvas because I did a short tester on the demo and the multi Layers worked.  Great right?  Well, now that I've jumped in, I've found several issues.  Let's start on the issue I described in the subject line.  What happen?

I place two files (layering them) in the timeline, save, and then go away.  I then come back and one of these still shows up as a file in the timeline, but all the content is gone.  No video and no audio.  I'm dumbfounded.  Can anyone help me here?  I'll ask my other questions in separate post.

This does not sound like any known issue. Can you please email me privately (mar...@norrkross.com) with the exact details on what you do and the unexpected results, along with the machine info (what Mac model and which version of OS X)?

The most common malfunction in the app is when you use some third party QuickTime plugin, such as Perian with particular media files.
