So as I had mentioned after the game last night, I am wanting to run
a module with enough of my own personalized content to streamline the
flow for more RP. I am leaning towards Banewarrens as it is a really
well done adventure intended for creative players...Any of you are
welcome and it would be a 1 Saturday/month scedule with dates to be
determined by mob rule.
I like to stick to core races but Shifter is acceptable. I am likely
to allow the Artificer as well and I am more than willing to look at
classes, feats, prestige classes, spells or whatever from what you all
generally considered acceptable material: Complete series, Core books,
Eberron (specifically where the shifter/artificer are concerned),
etc... but like to peruse those things you might want from those books
ahead of time to make judgement calls where possible balance problems
might spring up. Additionally, there are some materials from Book of
Roguish(sp) Luck that I will be including.
I'll get into House Rules and other things when I have determined
player numbers/interest

Still Grudd.Tirris v1.0

Anything to get away from my quiet, serene life!

No, but your games are always fun, so there you go. When you say
"personalized content" do you mean that the Banewarrens is going to
take place in the world you generally run? Can we be an entire party
of Quixalons?

An entire party of Quixalons would be hilarious but they would have
to share the same instant audience and therefore fight over their
artifical attention. I had not thought to place the module within my
own world but I think I may now, a fine Jarn...er idea, indeede! Based
on this fine suggestion I will finally delve into the horrifying and
demented truth behind the Instant Audience. Who are they? What are
they? Why do they slaver over the bard Quixalon? Was Quixalon himself
created by the fickle Deck of Many Things? All this and and a bag of
chips in our next exiting chapter...

After thinking about the module and what original content I plan on
using, I am using Ptolus with some modifications. Core races are
allowed naturally as are Shifters, and Harrow Elves (Ptolus setting).
All core classes are acceptable with minor modifications:
-Monks can multi-class to fighter, cleric or rogue freely.
-Paladins can multi-class to cleric or fighter freely and almost
universally worship Lothian.
-Monte Cook Bard as detailed in Book of Eldritch Might replaces
standard bard class (to be detailed as needed)
-Urban Ranger replaces standard Ranger but the spell list is replaced
by a modified Gutter Mage spell list.
-Sorcerers do not require spell components but are required to spend
experience if the spell description calls for it.

Complete series classes/prestige classes are reviewable at the very
least but I may or may not say yes until I think about how they could
break the module. Finally Artificers from Eberron are allowable as
well.

Please, please, please if you have a prestige class in mind early let
me know about it up front rather than have you feel gimped when I
possibly nix your favorite prestige class in the whole world. The last
thing I want to do is have you level your character thinking I can be
sweet talked later.
