Let's do a little roleplaying here. You be you. Let's say that you received a letter out of the blue, from a friend, in handwritten calligraphy, inviting you to a special gaming session at Gen Con. The invitation is designed so that you can slot in a business card, which shows a logo with the symbol of the person's forum Avatar, and the words "Game Master".
What do you do?

Proceed with great caution. A letter of such fine craftsmanship might be valuable enough to be the vessel for Trap the Soul. Handle it only with tools or through proxies until it can be determined that the letter does not contain my name.

Well, now that you think about it, your name was on the outside of the envelope, and you pulled the letter without becoming entrapped. Your calls to DHS regarding the possibility of explosive runes nets you a visit from the bomb squad, followed by a stern lecture and a warning of potential fines and/or imprisonment for future "pranks".
If only they knew.

In addition to appreciating the craftsmanship and certainly showing up for the event. I would look for fine prind a-la 'The Santa Clause' around the border that might obigate me to some sort of activity.

You see no microprinting, but removing the business card from its holder reveals the back to read:
No secret can withstand the light of inquiry!

Then I'd check the time slot against my gaming schedule. If it's not up against my "Don't Look Back" tournament semi-finals, I'd swing by. With crossbow loaded.
