I'm going to be arriving in Stockholm the night before the conference and am looking for accommodation near the Cityterminalen to give myself a fighting chance of being on the bus in the morning. Can anyone recommend a good hotel in the area, please? :)

Thanks,

Alan

Never stayed there, but Radisson Blu Waterfront is the #1 hotel in Stockholm on Tripadvisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g189852-Stockholm-Hotels.html) and literally next to Cityterminalen. It's not cheap, though. This map should show you the hotels nearby for that night, in order of Tripadvisor rating: http://bit.ly/JKgWoD

I've booked a single private with shared bathrooms at:

Archipelago Hostel Old Town
Stora Nygatan 38

Can't say much about it and haven't been to a hostel yet, but it's affordable and near the central station (7min walk). Should be sufficient for a night.

Regards,
Mike

I've stayed at Rica Hotel Stockholm before, and it's nothing fancy, but a good hotel in a good location for a decent price. I think both breakfast and wifi is included in the price, IIRC: https://www.rica-hotels.com/hotels/sweden/stockholm/rica-hotel-stockholm/

Thanks, all. I ended up booking the Central Hotel just up the road from Cityterminalen. :)
