Bluebird weekend! Sunny skies, no wind and warm temps made snow-burn the biggest threat. Saturday was busier than Sunday. Made it up to McClure Rock on Saturday, top of Pan Face today. Lots of signs of loose wet avalanches to be seen and about 10-12" of wet snow over a supportable crust. Surface snow was crusty both mornings but softed to mashed potatoes by noon.
Tahoe fueled up and left at the JAM building. Did not use the Escape. Thanks to Terry, Louise, Sherry and Ray for coming out this weekend.
Only used T-101 house this weekend.
Still lots of snow left at Paradise, so sign up to patrol in April!
