Nordic Patrol report for 2/7-2/8/2026

Hello patrol leads,

Info to pass along:

1.) Saturday evening at the Nisqually house, we were told the local pump was not functioning properly and the house water pressure would drop.  It was explained that after a significant drop, the water would no longer be potable.  By Sunday morning the pressure was low and we assumed it was no longer drinkable.  When we returned Sunday, there was a note on the front door saying not to drink the water.  I assume this condition is short term.  This does not affect Longmire.

2.) There were 4 tires in the back of the SUV that we put in the garage.  We left them in the garage so next week's group won't have to move them.

3.) We shifted trail sign 11 from the junction of the Paradise Valley Road and Inspiration Saddle Trail to Inspiration Saddle.

4.) Both vehicles were fueled Sunday morning.

5.) Poles around the water treatment areas in Edith Creek were inspected and did not require re-setting.

6.) Poles from Narada Falls to Reflection Lakes were reset (little adjustment needed).

7.) Wi-Fi is out at Nisqually house.
