Really enjoyed Brian’s format, so continuing that here.
A rainy, snowy day on the mountain! Nordic Patrollers persevered through tough conditions to complete our patrol objectives.
Nisqually House Needs: None. Supplies remain sufficient.
Nisqually House Adds: No new additions this weekend.

outage, the gas tank was not functioning and could not be refilled. It is currently on half a tank.
- The second vehicle is due to be returned this week after maintenance.
Notable Events: park wide power outage due to downed tree at Ashford.
Patrol Summary:

- Road Status: The gate to Paradise opened to the public at 11:00 AM. We gained admin access at 10:15 AM.
- Morning Brief: Completed our GAR at 8:00 AM and reviewed task books as well as marking items off while waiting for the road to open.
Patrol Details:
Rangers requested we check on campers at Barnes Flats, so this became our first priority. We confirmed the campers' location before continuing north toward Dead Horse and Pan Point, stopping just shy of the base. We greeted visitors in the area and then skied back to Paradise.
Conditions:
- Visibility: Approximately 100 meters due to fog and snow.
- Snow: Heavy, wet snow from overnight rain made skiing super fun.
Visitor Contacts: Around 30 visitors engaged during the patrol.
Let me know if you have any questions or need further details! Sid will provide details on Saturdays report shortly.
