The patrol team was tired from a busy day and baking in the sun on Saturday, so we kept our objectives modest. We had two teams of three and we both headed in the direction of Pan Face by various routes. Team one went out with an extra pole to finish the “x” above the waterfall and team two headed up deadhorse to check in on campers. We all made meaningful visitor interactions and compelled multiple groups in street closes to truncated their hikes due to the worsening visibility and incoming weather.

Placing the pole to finish the “x” was our baby in the mange. The rain started and we headed down. We toured the ambulance, which is now also being used to haul signs. Since the rangers no longer have a truck of their own. They may appreciate arranging for us to leave the truck for them Sunday afternoon. The truck is still making the weird noise.

There are two new names ski routes:
Whoopsie daisy off Pan Point
Three Turns off Alta Vista

The drains in the showers are clogged. Remo poured draino down the downstairs one and it’s better, not great. We don’t have access to the laundry room again. We need to remember to wash the towels before the end of the season so they don’t get put away dirty.
