Team 2 (Annemarie, Mia, & Kashan) removed the lower Narada Falls to Canyon Wye poles as they were falling over on part of the route due to low coverage. Gate did not close Saturday. Ryan picked up the poles on Sunday with his truck at Canyon Wye.
Canyon Wye to Reflection, Devils Dip, and 4th crossing poles need to be removed next weekend and cached by the roads. Snowshoes recommended for the lower routes. Consider digging out the small foot bridge between Inspiration Saddle and Reflection Lake.
Sunday started out dry, warm, and sunny before the rain came in the afternoon. Team 1 (Chris, Mia, Kashan) went above Pan Point. Team 2 (Lindsey and Annemarie) reset the poles/signs along the ridge past Alta Vista/above the gully and did PSAR below Pan Face.
The downhill gate resumed closure at 5pm Sunday due to expected storm/snow the next few days.
*Personal vehicles were used as we no longer have the Park vehicles. Please make sure patrollers are aware.
Congrats to Kashan for completing his taskbook! He’s interested in becoming a lead next year.
Looks like someone forgot some boots a previous weekend? See photo.
