Patrollers: 5 patrollers today: myself, Johan Erasmus, Pete Schupp, Ray Cross and Dan Hogan.
Weather: Sunny and toasty due to no wind. Temps probably got up around freezing but it felt warm. I actually took off boots and socks and aired out the feet and it was quite comfortable!
Snowpack: Not much below Narada Falls. Surface softened and moistened a bit in today's sun/warmth. Supportable crust in most places around Paradise.
Avvy: Danger was rated as LOW today. No signs of avalanches, not even roller balls.
Activities: Re-poled the gully that is north of Alta Vista and leads from Skyline route down into Edith Creek basin. Extensive PSAR at the bottom of Pan Face, along the Skyline west/main winter route and Glacier Vista. Pete and Dan assisted the Winter Rangers with helping a visitor back up to the road after intentionally sliding down below it. Both teams spent a lot of time at the base of Pan Face doing PSAR. Over 200 contacts today. More folks with the AllTrails app thinking they would do the Skyline Loop. Some folks without sunscreen or sunglasses.
Vehicles: Left one vehicle at Longmore for the Winter Rangers use during the week. Both vehicles were full of gas. Other vehicle is at NH.
House: House is in good shape, I didn't stay there so not sure what if any supplies might be needed.
Keys: Car keys are on the table next to phone in NH. Still no park keys.
