Ipanema 'Mosaic' Flip Flop I like these a lot and can't wait to wear them. I ordered both size 8's and 9's just to see which one would fit me better. Usually, I'm an 8 in flip flops (such as Havianas and Old Navy), but these I actually had to size up to a 9. They're just slightly longer than my feet, but I like that because my toes won't overhang as I walk (which happened with the 8's). For size comparison the Ipanema size 9's measure almost exactly the same in width and length as a size 8 Old Navy flip flop. I matched them up to see, as I like the way my Old Navy flip flops fit.<\/span><\/div> The only bad thing (for me) is that the ankle straps on the 8's fit me perfect and the ankle straps for the 9's are way too big. I guess I have small ankles, since I usually have to put any shoes with ankle straps on either the very last hole, or second to last hole. However, I'm looking into buying a leather hole puncher to fix this problem.<\/span><\/div> Wearing them around the house, I can already tell they're going to be super comfy. They're soft and cushiony, while giving support. I can definitely see myself walking around in these all day. The toe strap doesn't bother me at all, even with me not wearing thong flip flops since the summer, it has some give/flexibility and it's soft.<\/span><\/div> I got these in both the beige/bronze and the black/silver. Overall, I super like these and I, personally, had to size up one size to have them fit the way I like. If you're considering buying these, go for it.
