Dansko 'Janie' Sandal I LOVE my new Janie Sandals!<\/span><\/div> At first I was hesitant about ordering on line. I have wide wide feet and just about everything I order through the mail gets returned. Even after reading the reviews, I wasn't convinced about the width or arch support. So I took my chance knowing I could return them.<\/span><\/div> I am so happy I took the chance! I love them. They are exactly what I was looking for. They are comfortable right out of the box! They are the usual Dansko width. Which means they are wider then most shoes, they have room for all my toes with no little piggies hanging off the side of the footbed! The arch support is good as well.<\/span><\/div> I love the fact that 4 of the straps have velcro. You can adjust the width and support level. Some of my Dansko sandals have elastic straps that stretch as you walk, leaving your foot raw in that area by the end of the day. That does not happen with these sandals! I love the footbed, just comfortable right out of the box. I love the heel height. They are perfect for all day comfort and you can be a little more active then you can in 2 inch heels! I bought the turquoise color and it is very pretty. There is a bit of shine to the finish, but not too much. I am afraid that it will be months though before I can give them a true test, here in freezing Michigan. They seem like they might be a bit short for the size, but not enough to go through the hassle of a return, as they are sandals.
