Via Spiga 'Irving' Pointy Toe PumpI usually have to wear for a couple week s to break in, but didn't with these shoes. Love them! "These shoes are amazing! I saw them in the store and ordered them right away in size 5. They are so comfortable. I am not sure if the open bridge and straps makes it roomier for those of us with wider feet or I was having a good foot day but it didn't even feel like I was wearing heels. These were one of the most comfortable heels I have tried on in quite some time. The mary-jane straps across the top are wonderful. I have a hard time wearing anything mary-jane ish because I am not a huge fan of my ankles and feel like any straps around my ankles make them look like cankles. But these have that detail worked in perfectly. You can wear these to work or for play. The black pump makes them conservative enough for even the most conservative work place but the mary jane detail makes them fun enough to wear for a night out (and the comfort of the shoe makes me want to live in them). Sadly I had to return the shoes because they are not made in anything smaller than a 5 and I was swimming in the 5. Man it was tough though. I put two pads in the front of the shoe and a pad at the heel just to try to make them fit. When that didn't work I cried a few tears and told the salesperson to just take them away." Via Spiga 'Irving' Pointy Toe Pump Reviews"I loved this shoe the moment I saw it. I can't remember ever buying red shoes, but this is a very classy shoe with its little silver buckles and fine heel.
As to it's fit, well, my regular size is the one that fit my foot so that is a good start. The toe of this one is comfortable but my foot doesn't touch much of anything between the heel and the toe - they don't have the slant right.
This is the second pair of Via Spiga's I own and neither of them is great for comfort. Via Spiga still has much to learn about making a shoe comfortable, but the way the shoe bends between the heel and the toe makes a big difference when we're talking high heels. When they get that figured out, I'll buy even more of their shoes. Right now, I purchase with great hesitation. So, I will carefully decide when I can wear these shoes
and it will be for only short occasions." |
