ASICS® 'GT 2000 2' Running Shoe (Women) I've been running in the 2000 series for as long as I can remember - at least 10+ years. I read some of the other reviews, and I have to COMPLETELY disagree with all the negative reviewers - this is my favorite version ever! I bought the same size I always wear, and the fit is spot on and exactly as I would expect. I have a slightly wider forefoot and narrower heels, and they fit really nice and secure (better than last year's version, which slipped a little in the heel). They are supportive, comfortable, and seem to feel a little softer or more cushioned. They also seem to be lighter weight, which I love. I've put almost a hundred miles on them, everything from long slow distance to faster tempo runs, and they've been great. Durability seems to be fine so far too.
