Love the color, the look and the value...I will have these for a very long time and they'll be even better once they are broken in. They are gorgeous! I ordered them in TAN in half a size down, 9.5 instead of 10 and they fit really well. I comment Nordstrom for suggesting to use a plastic boot to iniitially get inside them because around the heel area, it can be a little tough to get in. Once you are in there is a lot of room. I had ordered half a size down and the width felt a little tight but I also know that a size ten would have been way to long at the toe area so I had them stretched a little by the cobblers. As always, the frye delivers a great product and the gel sole inside is SO comfortable. They look very very cool with dresses and skirts. My calves are kind of a medium size, leaning toward ' bigger' medium but these fitted me well and as far as getting into the boot without a zip, that is not a problem at all. Its just that little push you need when you put your foot into the heel. That, overtime will stretch out a little and get easier. The first time I got them, I used the plastic bag idea and that worked a treat. I can see myself having these boots for years to come.
