"I purchased the plum color in this dress for Fall wedding as a bridesmaid. I am small (5'5', 100 lbs) and the 2 was still too large. I also found there to be lots & lots of fabric(. length and skirt in general -)which makes the dress a heavy chiffon. I suspect it would be pricey to shorten it because of the many layers. I might order a size 0 to see if I can work with that...still trying to decide. A petite size would be better. The flutter effect on sleeves is pretty & feminine; the plum color is lovely." After trying on so many dresses, I was so happy to have found this one. HOWEVER, the blush color in real life is more like a beigey-pink or nude, while the color online is more of a straight up pale pink. I was majorly disappointed by the color because this was the exact color I didn't want. My second preference was then the plum, which is now sold-out in my size. I will have to settle for the blue and hope the plum comes back in stock before my wedding in March. I'm 5'9" and 150# (size 10), and this dress was so flattering. The style really has everything I was looking for: nothing flashy, shows a little skin, makes my middle look thin, etc etc. It's a beautiful dress." |
