The distance between shoulder and waist line is 15 1/2 ", so the waist line on the dress sits much higher than natural waist line. Button of the dress has a plain finish, not a fancy one shown on the photo. The dress is very stretchy that is very comfortable for movement. I purchased my usual size, but the shoulders on the dress are rather wide, and I have good size shoulders. So you might want to go a size smaller than your regular size. Overall the quality is good, and the color is pretty for spring.
