What: March 12th Mobilizing Conference to Save Public Education

Where: UC Berkeley

When: March 12th, 10am-4pm
...
Why: The purpose of the march 12th Conference is to democratically devise an action plan, and create a structure capable of defending public education and public services for the benefit of all.
We invite all supporters of education across the nation to attend and participate in the conference.

-------Schedule:
1) March 2nd reports - we would hear from all the attendees but try and organize the discussion by sector

2) State of Budget cuts movement in CA - In light 2 years of organizing and of the major events in Wisconsin, where have we come from and where are things at in CA. What successes? What obstacles?

3) Next steps. March 14th, April 10th and SOS demo in DC in late July are a few things that come to mind.

4) Breakout groups or workshops. Depending on room availability in Berkeley we are going to leave time for people to meet in small groups afterward.

-----Breakouts on:
-Wisconson Workers
-Revolution in Northern Africa
