Updates for the upcoming NorCal FTC Regional Championship

All,

We have a couple of updates with info for the coming weekend!

Event Info

We have gathered a bunch of info about the weekend into an event page at:

Please be aware that there are other events taking place over the weekend in addition to our tournament.  We have been asked to focus our parking in the lot at the corner of El Camino and Embarcadero Rd.

The campus map has markings for all the spaces we will be utilizing, including a marking for the location of team check-in!

The competition area is in a below-ground level gym.  Elevator access is very limited and has proven to be prone to being unreliable.  Teams should plan accordingly to be able to manage getting their robot and drive-station up and down stairs.

Volunteers Needed

There are several roles that still need volunteers - including many that can be filled by students!!!

Practice Fields Needed

We currently don't have a full set of practice fields for the pits.  Without additional fields, there will be long waits for access to practice field time. Send an email to f...@playingatlearning.org if your team is able to bring and setup a practice field!

FTC Nexus

We will be using FTC Nexus as a tool for queuing notifications and broadcast messaging during the event.  Each team will have a unique QR code in their team packet to register as many users as they wish to receive the notifications!

The match timing for the event it critical.  We see FTC Nexus as a tool to help make sure the event runs smoothly!
