FTC Community,
We have 2 confirmed (and completely full) FLL Challenge tournaments that urgently need your help - both on Nov 15th.
The venue in Mt View is fully confirmed.
There is some risk to the Sacramento location due to a recent
medical issue with our local contact (trying to confirm that we
can still use the site - keeping fingers crossed).
What is needed:
1. Two individual Adults from your team willing to step into the Tournament Director and Volunteer Coordinator role
2. Willingness to recruit Judges / Referees from your extended community
3. Managing team communications and ensuring the supplies / food for the day are arranged
4. The Tournament Director (and any co-directors) to run the event day of.
5. The Volunteer Coordinator communicates with volunteers, assigns them per the FIRST and Playing At Learning policies using the FIRST Volunteer Management System.
We run weekly planning sessions with the Tournament Directors to answer questions, make sure that they have access to all of the resources, etc.
