East Bay Venue Needed – FLL Explore Festival (Community Support Requested)

Hello East Bay FIRST Community,

We are currently seeking a free venue in the East Bay to host an upcoming FLL Explore Festival. Unfortunately, a previously secured site is no longer available, and we are working quickly to identify an alternative location.

For those less familiar, FLL Explore serves students ages 6–10 and is a non-competitive festival where teams present their STEM projects, LEGO models, and research. It is the early pipeline into FIRST — and for many students, their very first experience with robotics and engineering.

We are looking for:

• A gymnasium, multi-purpose room, or large cafeteria

• Space for approximately 10–20 team tables

• Access on a Saturday (date flexible depending on availability)

• Basic power access

• Ideally located in the East Bay

Our festivals are well-organized, family-friendly, and community-centered. We handle logistics and volunteers.
