AB 506 Volunteer Requirements and 2025 League Participation Form

Dear NorCal FTC Teams,

We have two important updates as we prepare for the upcoming season.

First, California’s AB 506 law now requires all volunteers working with youth to meet specific compliance standards. This applies to every volunteer participating this season. Please take a moment to review the following blog post from FIRST HQ to understand what is required going forward:
Staying Compliant – Pennsylvania and California Clearances

Second, if your team participated in Leagues last season, an email was sent to your two Lead Coaches with a short survey asking if your team plans to participate in Leagues again this year. Please complete the survey only if your team was part of Leagues last season and you haven’t already responded.

If your team did not participate in Leagues last season but is interested in doing so this season, please complete this form to let us know:
