Video Volunteer Opportunity

Hello! The Playing at Learning team wants to feature our amazing teams and volunteers to help others hear your story about FIRST. 

We are looking for video content that we can share on our social media channels. If you are not comfortable with a video, we can also accept a photo of yourself/your team at a FIRST event and a quote! 

Here's how it works: 

1. Stand in a quiet space, such as an empty classroom or hallway

2. Ensure the lighting isn't too light or too dark

3. Speak clearly and ensure we can hear the person speaking

4. Record vertically, not horizontally. 

5. Say the name of your FIRST team if you are affiliated with one. 

6. Record a video less than 1 minute in length about one of the following topics: 

• Why are you a volunteer for FIRST? 
• What is the most helpful skill FIRST taught you?
• What is your favorite experience in FIRST? 
• What is something that surprised you about FIRST? 
• How did you become involved in FIRST? 
• How has FIRST impacted you? 
• Describe what your event day looks like.
• Share your favorite story about FIRST.
• Tell a joke about STEM, robotics, or engineering! 
• What are some cool features of a robot you have built? 

To submit it, upload your video to a Google Drive folder. Set the folder settings so anybody with the link can access the folder. Send an email to social-media@ playingatlearning.org to let us know that your videos have been submitted!

Please only refer to people in a video by their first name and send the names of the people in the video, your team name, and team number in your email!
