1) Bay Area Maker Faire coming up May 19-20-21!  
  *    We are looking for 7 FLL teams to join us throughout the weekend - Sign up at http://goo.gl/forms/qX2N31uJxZ

2)  Official FLL Camps at The Play Space in San Jose from June 19 through August 18th.  Learn more at http://www.theplayspace.org/classes-camps    Sign up soon if you are interested.


3) Finishing up 2016 Animal Allies season:

  *    Animal Allies FLL championship rubrics have NOT been mailed yet.  I really do expect to start reviewing / mailing soon.

  *   Pictures will start getting posted soon.  I am looking for a collaborative picture sharing site and not currently happy with any of the sites that I have evaluated.  If you have any experience in this area, please let me know.


4) Aging out of FLL?

  *    We appreciate when our former coaches and mentors are willing to come back and be a Judge or Referee!  To learn about opportunities to stay involved, please join the volunteer-for-pal googlegroup by visiting https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/volunteer-for-pal .  This is a low volume group that only promotes upcoming FIRST volunteer opportunities.




5) 2017 HYDRO DYNAMICS
FIRST LEGO League National Team Registration opens in mid-May !

  *    I have not seen an exact date yet but the new season registration should be opening in a few weeks.

6) Playing At Learning has several openings posted at http://www.playingatlearning.org/openings/ including a
FIRST AmeriCorps VISTA position and 2 part-time FLL Coordinators.
