Hi All --
I have been hearing from a couple of coaches that have been calling FIRST and asking "why their mylumi data does not show the same status as their FIRST team dashboard". FIRST HQ in New Hampshire has no insight or control on mylumi and will just point (wrongly) back to us. As I have tried to explain in multiple ways, there is no direct connection from your FIRST Team dashboard to mylumi.
The mylumi system is merely showing the available data from
the FIRST Tableau partner data site as of a specific
date/time.
If this does not match what you see in your FIRST Team dashboard, until the data is available on the FIRST Tableau partner data site (which is controlled by FIRST)
AND
then downloaded from the partner data site to be uploaded into mylumi (which is controlled by Playing At Learning), you will not see it in mylumi.mylumi is only a reporter - it does not change / alter the data from FIRST.
When you call support I would recommend instead saying something
like:
The team data that is available to our partner as of this morning does not match what has been showing in our FIRST Team dashboard for quite some time [the more specific you can be, the better]. When will the FIRST Tableau partner data report(s) be updated for our team?
Specifically these 3 Tableau reports are what we download and use: Team Status Report, the Secured Team Roster Youth Report and/or the 2026 Team Roster - CA Local Clearances Report.
The Team Status Report has team number, name, coach 1 contact info/YPP status, coach 2 contact info/YPP status. [Note that the YPP status here is the background screening through Verified Volunteers and related FIRST training - not the California specific items]
The Secured Team Roster Youth Report has the list of team members (first name, last initial only) accepted onto the roster and if they have a parent/guardian that has signed off on the consent and release of liability waiver.
The 2026 Team Roster - CA Local Clearances Report has a list of all of the individuals tied to a team roster and their status in clearing both of the AB506 requirements - namely the fingerprinting and the Mandated Reporter training [note mylumi only uses the info for Lead Coach 1 and Lead Coach 2]
It likely would be helpful for FIRST to know which specific report(s) are not being updated for your team and for how long...
Finally, I have been updating mylumi with the FIRST Tableau partner data daily for 2 weeks now. mylumi is up to date with the FIRST Tableau partner data as of this morning at 9:48am pacific / 12:48pm eastern.
